Treatment Team

Children and adolescents spend each day with highly trained and supervised staff. Following the Psycho-Educational Treatment Model, all staff members actively teach appropriate behavior to replace individual problem behaviors identified at admission. Individuals also are taught various self-control options to be used in times of stress or in situations where they have historically ​engaged in inappropriate behavior.

​Individual Assessment

From the time of admission, each child or adolescent is assessed by a multi-disciplinary team led by the medical director/child and adolescent psychiatrist in order to gather critical information for the treatment plan. Appropriate members from the individual’s family/guardians and community, such as clergy, therapists, case managers and juvenile justice are included on the team.

Secure web-based technology allows real-time communication with team members from the community and allows for family therapy.
