M. Rohan Fernando, Ph.D. is Director of the Molecular Diagnostic Research Laboratory at Boys Town National Research Hospital. Dr. Fernando earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine in 1994 from the Kyushu University School of Medicine, Fukuoka, Japan. His current research is focused on the development of novel noninvasive molecular diagnostic and prognostic tests by discovering new biomarkers for childhood and adult cancers and other diseases.
