Matthew Dobbertin, D.O.

​Biography

Dr. Matthew Dobbertin is a Child Psychiatrist, who received his medical degree in Nevada at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and trained in General Psychiatry Residency at UNMC/Creighton, followed by a Child Psychiatry Fellowship through Creighton University.  He is married to a Physician Assistant experienced in pediatrics and Pain Management who is currently caring for their 5 children and applying those learned skills to her own daily life.  He hopes to make a meaningful contribution in a field incredibly underserved, helping those who don't have a voice.

Research Interests

Dr. Dobbertin's research interests focus on early intervention/preventative medicine in Childhood Psychiatric disorders, especially PTSD, Attachment disorder, Conduct disorder, Bipolar disorder and Schizophrenia.
