New and Expecting Parents Invited to Newborn Expo and Skills Workshop

Boys Town Pediatrics is excited to offer parents two options for preparing for their newborn this fall! We will host a virtual Newborn Expo from Monday, October 9, to Friday, October 13 and an in-person newborn skills workshop on Saturday, October 14.
Virtual Newborn Expo – Monday, October 9 through Friday, October 13
Led by Boys Town Pediatricians and experts, the virtual event will be held on Facebook with daily education sessions. Each day will feature content tailored to new and expecting parents, with a live presentation at noon and additional resources shared throughout the day.

Virtual attendees who participate in a livestream session will be entered to win prizes from Boys Town Pediatrics and our community partners. One lucky grand prize winner will receive a FREE newborn photography session with Nikki McLeay Photography. We'll draw for the grand prize on Friday, October 14.

In-Person Newborn Skills Workshop – Saturday, October 14
Led by Boys Town Pediatricians and community partners, the Newborn Skills Workshop will offer in-person education sessions and hands-on training for new and expecting parents and caregivers. At this 3-hour workshop, attendees will have the chance to learn about:
- Newborn first-aid and CPR with the Boys Town Fire Department
- Car seat installation and travel safety with Safe Kids Omaha
- Swaddling and home care with Nurture Omaha
- Babyproofing your home with Nebraska Regional Poison Center
The event is free but attendance is limited, so sign up today!
Please note: This event features concurrent sessions and may require attendees to change rooms. While it's not designed as a "come and go" event, we understand life's demands and encourage you to attend around your schedule.
